Par Pacific is hiring a Food Service Associate to be part of our multi-state team that keeps America moving at our nomnom retail brand. You'll provide friendly, smiling service to help community members fuel their cars and satisfy their hunger, while pursuing career opportunities in a growing company.
What You'll Do
- Perform cashier duties, including accurately ringing up customers and taking various forms of payment.
- Answer questions about the food items offered.
- Handle food preparation.
- Adhere to safe and sanitary food handling practices.
- Replenish supplies and food.
- Clean surface areas, throw away trash, and perform general housekeeping.
- Receive and unload stock.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Obtain and maintain all required food and age-restricted product certifications within 2 weeks of employment.
- Assist with the store's standard operations, including lotto, alcohol and tobacco sales, cashiering, and fuel attendant duties.
- Consistently provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Work all assigned shifts, arriving on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
- Act as a positive team player, working cohesively with other employees and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, including all safety and environment policies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.
- Ability to see with 20/40 vision (corrective lenses acceptable).
- Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Ability to follow safety procedures.
- Frequent reaching overhead, gripping, wrist movement, and finger dexterity.
- Frequent squatting and kneeling.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $16.95 - $20.50 per hour.
- Eligibility for a $3.00 shift differential.
