Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain tools for validating audio performance in SDK libraries and related technologies.
- Implement C/C++ and Python solutions to assess audio output, identify regressions, and verify correct functionality across versions.
- Construct automated frameworks for consistent audio quality evaluation using signal processing, spectral analysis, latency testing, and compliance checks.
- Build diagnostic tools that clearly highlight changes in audio behavior for engineering teams.
- Collaborate with SDK developers to grasp feature details, potential risks, expected outcomes, and testing requirements.
- Embed audio validation processes into continuous integration, build systems, reporting structures, dashboards, and release procedures.
- Diagnose intricate audio problems using debugging techniques, data interpretation, signal processing methods, and input from specialists.
- Lead technical domains from initial requirements through design, coding, documentation, upkeep, and ongoing support.
- Contribute to establishing best practices for reliable, reusable, and verifiable audio validation tools.
- Guide and educate team members, promoting knowledge transfer across quality engineering and audio development groups.
