Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with product managers to define technical requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Optimize applications for performance and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
- Ensure codebase consistency across services
- Work with frontend developers to integrate user-facing features
- Support deployment and monitoring processes
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks for fit
- Maintain documentation for systems and workflows
- Follow security best practices in development
- Help define engineering standards and practices
- Assist in mentoring junior developers
- Participate in sprint planning and team ceremonies
- Integrate third-party tools and services
- Monitor system health and respond to alerts
- Improve CI/CD pipelines

Compensation
$120,000 – $160,000 per year
