Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with ATO reporting requirements and deadlines
- Review trust deeds and fund structures for regulatory alignment
- Manage client documentation and recordkeeping systems
- Coordinate with auditors and tax agents during external reviews
- Support the implementation of process improvements in accounting workflows
- Assist in the onboarding of new SMSF clients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of superannuation legislation
- Conduct fund audits and internal verification checks
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Respond to client and advisor inquiries regarding fund performance
- Prepare tax returns and related schedules for funds
- Monitor changes in tax laws affecting fund operations
- Ensure data accuracy across accounting platforms
- Collaborate with technology teams on system enhancements
- Participate in quality assurance reviews of deliverables
- Track key performance metrics for accounting processes
