DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring a Senior Scrum Master to independently establish, lead, and manage scrum teams and scrum-of-scrums on complex agile programs. In this role, you will be a key interface with product managers, engineering managers, and other stakeholders to maximize development team effectiveness by engaging the right teams, supporting work estimation, and leading delivery.
What You'll Do
- Lead scrum ceremonies, remove obstacles, and facilitate problem-solving, collaboration, and conflict resolution for one or more complex product or program teams.
- Plan and replan software releases for complex initiatives to ensure timely updates and deliver planned benefits as early as possible.
- Facilitate backlog refinement with the product manager and optimize resource deployment to reduce costs and increase the value delivered.
- Define execution plans to disseminate innovative capabilities across the business, helping people develop competencies through solutions like idea platforms and hackathons.
- Lead execution of the digital roadmap, establishing and managing business processes, programs, initiatives, KPIs, and governance activities.
- Manage identification of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints for programs, escalating where appropriate and implementing agreed-upon solutions.
- Develop your own capabilities and those of junior team members through assessment, training, and coaching; maintain knowledge of relevant technology and best practices.
- Produce workstream or program plans, ensuring all activities are identified, organized to deliver objectives, and comply with organizational methodologies and standards.
- Contribute to reviewing existing operations and generate new ideas to identify continuous improvements.
- Act as a transformational change agent within your assigned program, using structured methodologies to drive acceptance and embed desired culture and behaviors.
- Carry out baseline and post-implementation analyses to contribute to the measurement and tracking of business benefits.
What We're Looking For
- General Experience: Over 3 to 6 years of experience enabling you to deal with the majority of situations and advise others.
- Managerial Experience: 13 months to 3 years of experience supervising and directing people and resources to achieve specific results within limited timeframes.
Nice to Have
- A Master's Degree or equivalent level is preferred.

- Compensation range: $95,200.00 - $158,800.00
