Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with program goals, success metrics, strategic direction, and organizational impact.
- Convert high-level objectives into executable plans, timelines, and measurable outcomes using project management tools and artificial intelligence where applicable.
- Cultivate strong partnerships and enable coordination across multiple institutions, resolving intricate alignment challenges.
- Guide interdisciplinary teams of research, technical, and operations personnel to meet key project milestones.
- Identify potential risks, dependencies, and resource constraints; implement strategies for decision-making, issue resolution, escalation, and risk reduction.
- Oversee project budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Improve operational effectiveness by assessing, adopting, and expanding best practices, emerging technologies, and AI-driven methods to streamline workflows and enhance reliability.
- Collaborate with scientific leadership to set priorities, inform decisions, and adapt project plans in response to changing requirements.
- Apply in-depth scientific and technical expertise to shape program architecture and evaluate trade-offs.
- Establish clear lines of communication across teams, leading recurring meetings, status updates, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
