Responsibilities
- Configure, implement and optimize processes in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Product Cost Controlling within the SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) modules
- Gather and document requirements, working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specification
- Design processes that meet our customer’s expectations
- As part of our internal finance homebase you coach colleagues, share your expertise and support competence development
- Support testing by leading unit-, integration- and user-acceptance testing, and deliver training to end-users
- Provide support and troubleshoot issues across SAP Finance and Controlling modules
- Ensure integration with other SAP modules, such as Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, and Production Planning
- Engage with customers to understand their business, anticipate needs, and propose relevant solutions
- Support sales processes with realistic planning and solution scoping
- Contribute to project management, including planning, estimation, and execution of workstreams
- Are interested in exploring and testing new innovations especially S/4HANA Finance and emerging functionalities
Requirements
- Solid experience in SAP Finance and/or Controlling, including at least some of the key functional areas listed above
- Several years of consulting experience – or a strong track record as a key user in finance or controlling, ready to transition into consulting
- Initial exposure to S/4HANA and a desire to deepen your expertise
- A consulting mindset and fluency in both German and English
Nice to Have
- Ideally, familiarity with ABAP programming
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud would be seen as a plus
