Responsibilities
- Oversee, maintain, and enhance SAN storage infrastructure to ensure consistent performance and uptime.
- Configure and resolve issues on Brocade Fibre Channel switches using command-line interfaces.
- Conduct in-depth troubleshooting across SAN environments and allocate disk resources efficiently.
- Support and manage enterprise-grade storage platforms from DELL EMC, IBM, and HITACHI.
- Utilize automation tools such as Ansible along with scripting languages including bash, ksh, Python, and Perl to streamline operations.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve critical SAN-related incidents with minimal service impact.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system setups, operational workflows, and recommended practices.
- Work closely with infrastructure and application teams to integrate storage solutions with organizational requirements.
- Contribute to projects focused on data replication, protection strategies, and scaling storage capacity.
