Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced automation solutions in Salesforce, including Flows, validation rules, and process builders, to support sales, customer success, finance, and contract operations
- Develop custom Apex code, including classes, triggers, batch processes, and Lightning Web Components, for functionality beyond declarative tools
- Lead the technical architecture of CPQ implementations, covering product configuration, pricing logic, quote generation, and contract modifications
- Create and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, along with middleware such as MuleSoft
- Oversee deployment processes across environments using CI/CD methodologies and change sets
- Take full ownership of technical decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and follow Salesforce best practices
- Support platform governance by contributing to data model design, security configuration, permission architecture, and overall org health
- Collaborate with process teams to assess business requirements early and identify potential technical challenges prior to development
- Produce clear technical documentation and specifications for implementation by junior developers and administrators
- Review peer code and technical designs to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous team improvement
- Engage directly with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and translate them into well-defined technical solutions
- Participate in process design workshops, providing technical insights to shape efficient workflows before development begins
- Explain technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to non-technical audiences using accessible language
- Leverage AI technologies such as Einstein, Agentforce, or third-party LLM integrations to improve forecasting, opportunity prioritization, and content automation
- Prototype and evaluate AI-driven workflows, including smart lead assignment, AI-suggested tasks, and automated data enhancement, for potential production use
- Stay informed about advancements in Salesforce AI and propose practical applications to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy
