Ivanti is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer - Federal (Remote in Virginia/Washington D.C./Maryland)

About the Role

This role involves partnering with sales teams to provide technical expertise during client engagements, supporting federal government accounts through solution design, demonstrations, and proof of concepts tailored to government requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand federal client needs
  • Deliver technical product demonstrations aligned with government use cases
  • Develop proof of concept environments for federal prospects
  • Translate customer requirements into technical solutions
  • Respond to technical inquiries from government stakeholders
  • Support RFP and procurement processes with technical documentation
  • Stay current on product updates and security certifications
  • Articulate product capabilities in compliance with federal standards
  • Work with engineering teams to relay customer feedback
  • Participate in customer onboarding and follow-up support
  • Present at industry events and government technology forums
  • Maintain understanding of federal IT procurement policies
  • Coordinate with partners on joint solution delivery
  • Assist in defining technical positioning for government sales
  • Ensure solutions meet cybersecurity and accreditation requirements

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline
  • Certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL
  • Experience with zero trust architecture
  • Background in software licensing models for government
  • Prior work with IT service management platforms
