What You'll Do
Guide and support a team of sales development representatives, setting clear expectations and fostering a performance-driven environment. You'll ensure consistent achievement of lead generation and qualification goals through regular coaching, performance reviews, and targeted feedback.
Oversee the full lead qualification process, ensuring timely and accurate handoffs to the sales team according to defined funnel stages. You'll champion CRM discipline, enforcing data accuracy and completeness across all team activities.
Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs to build team capability and improve conversion rates. Analyze performance metrics to inform forecasting, reporting, and strategic improvements, while collaborating with marketing and sales operations to align on target audiences and messaging.
Act as the primary escalation point for team challenges, removing barriers and driving solutions. Share field insights with internal teams to help refine outreach strategies and product positioning. Promote a culture rooted in accountability, continuous learning, and high standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading and developing sales development teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong track record in meeting or exceeding lead generation and conversion targets
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and data management, with a focus on reporting and analytics
- Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate
- Experience collaborating across marketing, sales, and operations functions
- Familiarity with sales funnel dynamics and pipeline planning processes
