HSBC Group is hiring a Senior Relationship Manager to join our China team. You will be responsible for managing and developing client portfolios, providing full-service banking to high-net-worth individuals, and driving revenue growth while maintaining rigorous internal control standards.
What You'll Do
- Manage and develop client portfolios, participate in team organization, and ensure administrative support.
- Provide full-service banking and execute transactions for high-net-worth individual clients.
- Establish new relationships and manage existing ones to generate new Assets Under Management and Revenue.
- Cooperate with platform managers to clear pending items, improve quality, and resolve problems.
- Grow revenue, increase portfolio AUM, and increase net new money inflows by leveraging brand, channels, and network.
- Ensure client objectives are met through appropriate product selection within portfolios.
- Ensure clients are aware of their level of risk.
- Research account and transaction records to resolve discrepancies and provide client documentation.
- Provide coaching and guidance to other Relationship Managers to develop their knowledge and experience.
- Lead by example by exhibiting behaviours consistent with HSBC values.
- Provide assistance to fellow Relationship Managers.
- Work closely with other Bank Departments to maintain HSBC internal control standards.
- Ensure follow-up on all risk and compliance issues, such as CCR, KYC, Compliance, Risk Management, and Internal Audit requests.
- Minimize operational losses.
- Stay aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and act accordingly.
- Understand, follow, and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points and regulatory issues.

- At least 10 years of relationship management experience in the banking sector.
- Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth, and revenue generation.
