About the Role

Lime is hiring a Senior Regional Lead, Government Relations for the Pacific Northwest to drive our mission of building a future where transportation is shared, affordable, and carbon-free. Based in Seattle, you will partner closely with operations to advance micromobility policies, promote Lime's community presence, and secure the regulatory environment needed to grow our fleet and programs across the region.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with government leaders, businesses, non-profits, community organizations, and media.
  • Participate in media interviews and speak at government and community forums, organizing and leading public on-site events.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and implement strategic paths to maintain and grow the current fleet of Lime vehicles in priority Northwest markets.
  • Develop and execute a long-term government relations strategy aligned with company priorities and key city metrics.
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing teams on educational and safety initiatives, advertising campaigns, and local media activities.
  • Analyze and inform regional leadership and company HQ on local regulatory or legislative matters, anticipating potential issues and problem-solving with internal teams.
  • Create models and best practices for stakeholder engagement, developing work plans, delivering on goals, and improving team operational efficiency.
  • Manage teams of consultants in multiple markets as needed, establishing metrics for success and accountability.

What We're Looking For

  • Fluency in English and the ability to speak confidently in public and to the media.
  • At least five (5) years of related experience leading or working in government affairs, public policy, campaigns, and/or community development in a government-related environment.
  • A minimum of three (3) years working directly with municipal and/or state government, campaigns, or public policy in the Pacific Northwest region.
  • A multi-tasker comfortable working on multiple priorities at once while executing projects in a demanding environment.
  • An analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to drive the company toward high-impact initiatives and efficient growth.
  • Availability to travel as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Some knowledge of another language, specifically Spanish.
  • Previous professional experience in transportation and mobility.

Team & Environment

This role reports directly to the Regional Head of Government Relations for the U.S. West.

Work Mode

This role is based locally in Seattle.
