About the Role
The position leads government engagement efforts across multiple jurisdictions, driving policy advocacy and regulatory alignment to support the deployment and expansion of micromobility services.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional outreach to local and state government entities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key policymakers and agency staff
- Advocate for regulatory frameworks that support equitable and sustainable transportation options
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align policy goals with operational needs
- Monitor legislative developments and identify potential risks or opportunities
- Represent the organization at public meetings, hearings, and industry events
- Prepare briefing materials, policy positions, and testimony for government stakeholders
- Support the development of compliance strategies in response to new regulations
- Collaborate with city partners to improve transportation infrastructure
- Manage regional policy campaigns with measurable objectives
- Translate national policy priorities into localized implementation plans
- Engage in proactive problem-solving with regulatory bodies
- Track and report on government relations performance metrics
- Ensure consistent messaging across jurisdictions
- Support crisis response efforts involving government stakeholders
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning for market growth
