Due to continued growth, Crown Global is seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. This is a remote-based role, with candidates required to be resident in Ireland, the UK or Europe, and available to travel to project sites across Europe as/if required. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will take a lead role in the commercial management of live projects, providing oversight, guidance and commercial control across the project lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Lead the commercial management of projects in line with company procedures and best practice.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and cost-to-complete reports.
- Oversee measurement of works and preparation of interim and final valuations.
- Prepare and review client applications and support the invoicing process.
- Manage procurement strategies for subcontractors and materials.
- Assess subcontractor applications, manage valuations, payments and final accounts.
- Administer construction contracts, including variations, change control and claims.
- Identify, manage and report commercial risks and opportunities.
- Provide commercial support and guidance to Project and Site Management teams.
- Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting for senior management.
- Attend site as required to support commercial activities and project delivery.
