About the Role
The Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects, leading a team, and ensuring financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of quantity surveyors and commercial managers.
- Oversee the commercial aspects of projects, including cost management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize profitability.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and review tender documents, bids, and proposals.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Provide commercial advice and support to project teams.
- Manage and resolve commercial disputes and claims.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and present commercial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for business development and growth.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of commercial processes and procedures.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior team members.
