Responsibilities
- Report solid line to the Proposal Engineering manager
- Provide leadership and be accountable for on-time delivery of design products within budget
- Establish and maintain strong working relationship with other internal engineering teams, business leaders, project managers and stakeholders
- Interface with external partners, customers, and other applicable country specific regulatory agencies, as required on technical issues
- Work with Advanced Application and functional engineering teams to build estimates, schedules, manage change orders and responses to Corrective Actions
- Coordinate engineering interfaces and drive timely resolution of technical project issues with multiple engineering disciplines, business project and product management, partners, subcontractors, and customers
- Support the planning, organization, and management of the delivery of technical activities/tasks in support of engineering deliverables
- Support the management of external resources to ensure the quality of deliverables, enable flexibility and improved cost positions
- Support commercial and marketing opportunities to develop new business opportunities
- Protect the Intellectual Property rights of GVH
- Support GVH initiatives, process improvement and simplification
- Ensure adherence to GVH’s standards for nuclear safety and compliance
- Partner with business teams and present product/program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leads across GVH
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related Science or technical discipline
- At least 12 years of progressive experience in engineering design, project development, and/or project leadership experience
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time as required
Nice to Have
- At least 8 years of experience in the nuclear industry or equivalent large scale new build experience in the power industry
- Proven ability to be a liaison between organizations that are operating in separate geographic locations

- Proven interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to think strategically, be creative and move quickly
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple demands and priorities

- Experience with project management skillset (communication, risk, planning/scheduling, change mgmt)
- EPC experience and knowledge; specifically, power plant
- Understanding of nuclear industry and technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to document, plan, market and manage programs that further the knowledge, understanding and capability of the business

- The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
- This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
