Senior Project Manager - Oncology Remote, United States The Senior Project Manager orchestrates, directs, coordinates, and delivers clinical study project activities to guarantee project objectives regarding quality, scope, cost, and timeline are successfully accomplished. Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to: - Serve as primary communication and escalation point for client interactions - Coordinate and supervise all functional services including external vendor management aligned with established timelines and budget - Manage study budget, ensuring project remains within defined parameters and identifying out-of-scope activities early with appropriate handling - Maintain integrated collaboration with clinical operations and participate in clinical activities as appropriate - Oversee financial health of assigned studies, including project profitability, billable hours, and accurate billing compliance - Develop comprehensive project plans with robust timelines and proactive risk management strategies - Ensure quality management for assigned projects, including documentation inspection readiness and quality incident management - Establish tracking metrics to monitor trial and team progression toward project objectives - Prepare project status reports for clients and senior management, highlighting key performance indicators - Lead internal and client meetings while setting clear team expectations - Effectively communicate protocol/study issues to management and implement necessary responsive actions - Conduct professional presentations for diverse audiences - Implement and ensure study-specific training compliance - Support business development activities as required - Perform additional duties as assigned by management - Maintain organizational training and administrative compliance - Provide ongoing team member performance feedback Qualifications: Minimum Required: - North America/EU: Bachelor's degree in science/health-related field. Advanced degree preferred - Minimum 7 years clinical research experience - 4+ years direct project management experience - Experience managing complex global trials - Ability to travel domestically and internationally Other Required: - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, eTMF, EDC, and CTMS - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Exceptional organizational abilities and customer service orientation Competencies: - Demonstrated knowledge of ICH-GCP and organizational procedures - Proven project management techniques and tools expertise - Global cross-functional management experience - Strategic planning and risk management capabilities - High professional integrity - Results-oriented with strong leadership skills - Analytical and critical thinking abilities - In-depth pharmaceutical/device research experience - Preferred: oncology and cell/gene therapy background Compensation Range: $125,200 - $187,800 USD Precision Medicine Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
