P\S\L Group is hiring a Senior Project Manager to oversee every facet of a project within our data initiatives, reporting directly to the Vice President, Data Engineering. Our company is dedicated to putting information at the service of medicine to improve medical care and accelerate the advancement of medicine.
What You'll Do
- Lead project delivery teams using the best fit delivery approach, including Agile, traditional, or hybrid approaches to meet delivery targets.
- Project Manage the day to day activities to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Lead Agile Scrum ceremonies and actively support removing roadblocks.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to envision the future of data and how it can bring about value to the business.
- Understand and communicate the current state of all the projects and project management process, as they align to organization and portfolio priorities.
- Align the teams to establish project priorities by ensuring clarity on the overall scope and everyone’s role.
- Ensure Risks are identified and mitigation plans are established and communicated.
- Communicate changes and Status Updates according to appropriate audience needs effectively.
- Must be able to adapt plans and communicate impacts in a frequently changing work environment.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and support organizational success imperatives.
- Establish a Release Plan with clearly defined Epics and set of features to be delivered to the business.
- Create/support the creation of User Stories (requirements) that are clearly understood by various members of the team e.g., Developers, QA, Business, etc.
- Mentor and support team members in effectively using best practices, new technologies, and industry experience to successfully deliver projects.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years as a Project Manager and Scrum Master with experience in managing development, technology, and data projects.
- Expert in managing teams through Scrum or Kanban, and creating requirements in an agile environment.
- Project Management certified or demonstrated extensive experience in leading large and complex projects related with a high degree of Risks, Communication across distributed teams, and delivering against commitments.
- Strong ability to identify, manage, mitigate, and communicate risks within a project or externally, and manage its impact to delivery commitments.
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, organization skills, good collaboration skills, strong work ethic, initiative and the drive to succeed.
- Exceptional communication skills and experience working with remote teams.
- Hands-on experience with Jira (Project Management) and Smartsheets (Schedule Management). Must have experience setting up Jira Boards and Workflows, and Smartsheets schedules and roadmaps.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Healthcare would be a definite asset.
- 1+ year of exposure to Product Management for any technology driven Product.
- Healthcare experience dealing health care provider data management, automation, training and development is highly desired.
- CSM and/or CSPO are highly desirable.
- Applied knowledge and experience using GenAI tools.
- Experience with MeisterPlan or equivalent resource management software.
- Conceptual knowledge of AWS Services, DevOps, CI/CD, Data Science and Snowflake.
