About the Role
The individual in this role will direct environmental remediation initiatives, supervise project execution, and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead environmental cleanup projects from planning through completion
- Serve as Licensed Site Professional for regulatory filings and compliance oversight
- Manage client communications and expectations throughout project lifecycles
- Supervise field and technical staff to ensure quality and safety standards
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory agencies
- Coordinate with subcontractors and third-party vendors
- Develop project budgets and monitor financial performance
- Ensure adherence to environmental health and safety protocols
- Conduct site assessments and oversee remediation activities
- Provide technical guidance on regulatory compliance matters
- Review and approve engineering and environmental data
- Lead project meetings and deliver progress updates
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Support business development through technical proposals
- Ensure timely submittal of regulatory deliverables
- Interface with government agencies on compliance issues
- Oversee sampling and monitoring programs
- Manage change orders and contract adjustments
- Promote continuous improvement in project delivery
- Ensure alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements
- Support emergency response activities when needed
- Mentor junior staff on technical and project management practices
