As a Senior Project Manager HVDC at Hitachi Energy, you will lead EPC power projects, ensuring project execution, budget adherence, schedule compliance, scope management, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. You will act as the customer's voice within the organization, driving customer satisfaction and achievement of project goals in a global, multicultural environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead the project team with clear direction, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and achievement of technical, safety, quality, and financial targets.
- Oversee project planning including scope, budget, schedule, and risk.
- Monitor implementation stages to ensure cost control, resource efficiency, and compliance with HSE standards.
- Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Manage contract amendments, variation orders and claims in collaboration with contract, supply chain and legal functions.
- Drive project deliverables, identify and address risks, and ensure lessons learned are shared to improve ongoing and future projects.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and internal standards.
- Manage contract negotiations and claims in collaboration with contracts and legal functions.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience of project management
- Experience from energy or power industry
- Full right to work in the UK without any restrictions or sponsorship
