Brightspeed is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Fiber Engineering & Construction Support team. You will support Planning, Engineering and Construction teams responsible for all aspects of our fiber build, analyzing data to drive decisions and manage complex workflows.
What You'll Do
- Advise the Senior Manager of Engineering & Construction and support field build and address inventory support teams.
- Leverage monitoring tools, reports, and dashboards to detect performance drivers and guide leadership decisions for improving quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Work with the process team to develop guidelines and educational materials.
- Lead training-based communication sessions with stakeholders across Operations, Marketing, Regulatory, and Engineering to support understanding of fiber network and address management fundamentals.
- Track milestone activities and KPI results.
- Work fluently in shared files and Microsoft Office Excel, with a strong comfort level in dealing with large data sets.
- Ensure projects meet network readiness dates within time allotments.
- Create presentations to support leadership and C-Suite teams.
- Provide direct support to aid the VP and their teams.
- Collaborate with network and business domain leadership to design and implement future state processes that achieve program goals and end-to-end process engineering objectives.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in telecommunications or a similar field.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience.
- A naturally inquisitive and detail-driven approach with a history of connecting dots across systems and sources to reveal opportunities and risks.
- Usability and understanding of data visualization tools (PowerBI, Power Apps) and fundamentals of backend tables.
- Experience with Telecom Network Design systems (IQGeo, GIS, SmallWorld).
- Ability to create complex Methods & Procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft (PowerPoint & Excel), Adobe, and related systems.
- Ability to analyze data to drive strategic business decisions.
- Ability to build cohesive relationships with multiple departments through training, development, and accountability.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree and/or related work experience.
- Knowledge of Python, SAP, Fireworks, BidMaster, LeaseNet, Costar, JDS, WFMT, NDS, CLM, APO, FT3, ARMOR, MARTENS.
- Experience with Regulatory subsidy compliance.
