F.H. Paschen is seeking a Senior Project Manager to take on a key leadership role. In this position, you will be responsible for managing construction projects and leading teams, developing plans, directing activities to achieve construction objectives, and holding overall supervisory responsibility for project staff.

What You'll Do

Develop plans and direct overall activities to achieve construction objectives.
Manage budgeting, production planning, and staffing.
Handle the hiring and staffing needs of the regional office.
Plan, organize, and staff office and field positions.
Hold overall supervisory responsibility for Project Manager(s), Asst. Project Manager(s), Project Engineer(s), Administrative Staff, and Field Personnel.
Work with the General Superintendent on assignments for Superintendents and Field Personnel.
Collaborate with the General Superintendent to plan, organize, and direct all department activities at management and non-management levels.
Work with the General Superintendent and Project Managers to ensure projects are on schedule and meeting Owner expectations.
Train and develop personnel assigned to the office.
Drive business development by monitoring websites and trade magazines for bid opportunities and meeting with owners, architects, and engineers to develop a pipeline of projects.
Develop a strategy for sustaining the office and supporting planned growth.
Work with the VP to implement and maintain department standards and procedures.
Work with the VP to set and monitor goals for purchase orders, billings, and profitability.
Work with the VP to establish and monitor budgets for office overhead.
Ensure management and cost reports are properly maintained.
Monitor owner satisfaction.
Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to in the regional office.
Provide final approval for job budgets.
Ensure prompt billing and payments to owners.
Monitor payments from owners and payments to subcontractors.
Provide final approval of all subcontracts and change orders.
Ensure company policies regarding EEO/Affirmative Action are adhered to.
Ensure Corporate Safety and Quality programs are implemented.
Monitor contract compliance for MBE/WBE subcontracting and hiring goal requirements.

What We're Looking For

B.S in Construction Management or Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of construction experience.
Experience with a general contractor managing projects or programs is required.
Ability to manage projects and personnel simultaneously.
Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting, and cash flow management.
Computer skills, knowledge of Project Management and Scheduling, and good communication and organizational skills are necessary.
Advanced understanding of production methods, construction processes, and supervision of people and projects.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Good communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills.
Must be able to demonstrate a proven ability to manage.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Experience with budgeting, production planning, and staffing.

Nice to Have

Estimating and JOC proposal experience.

Team & Environment

You will have overall supervisory responsibility for Project Manager(s), Asst. Project Manager(s), Project Engineer(s), Administrative Staff, and Field Personnel. You will work closely with the General Superintendent and VP.
