Eaton Corporation is hiring a Senior Project Manager for Digital Solutions Development within our Utility Network Automation service division. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing software development projects for utility customers, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class digital solutions for smarter grid management. You will contribute to the execution of customer-paid development projects, helping to transform power management for safer and more sustainable energy use.
What You'll Do
- Manage software development projects, ensuring high standards in efficiency, on-time delivery, and scope management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to perform analysis on business requirements and produce technological designs and estimates as required.
- Prepare and actively manage project schedules.
- Provide status reports on project budget, schedule, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Effectively communicate with all project stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Proactively identify and address project risks and issues.
- Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, support, sales, and finance.
- Identify lessons learned and contribute to methodology improvements.
- Establish trust and develop long-term relationships with customers.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration in the work environment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field from an accredited institution.
- 8+ years of experience in software development project management.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English and French, with working proficiency in both languages.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to Have
- Significant experience in a consulting firm.
- PMP certification from the Project Management Institute or university studies in Project Management.
- Knowledge and experience in agile development methods.
- Practical experience in the development of automation systems or products, proven as a software developer or similar function earlier in your career.
- Electrical utility work experience and/or knowledge of electrical systems.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $101,000 - $126,000 CAD annually.
