About the Role
The Senior Project Controls Manager will lead the project controls team, managing project schedules, budgets, and risks to ensure successful project delivery. This role will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to provide accurate and timely reporting, and to implement best practices in project controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project controls team, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including progress reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Implement and maintain project controls systems and processes, ensuring they are fit for purpose and aligned with industry best practices.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring they are appropriately identified, assessed, and mitigated.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project controls are aligned with project objectives and deliverables.
- Provide training and development opportunities to the project controls team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Ensure project controls are integrated with other project management processes, such as planning, procurement, and contract management.
- Conduct regular reviews of project controls processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Manage project controls for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on project controls to project managers, stakeholders, and other team members.
- Ensure project controls are compliant with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Manage project controls for a variety of infrastructure projects, including highways, rail, and buildings.
- Develop and implement project controls strategies, plans, and methodologies.
- Manage project controls for projects at different stages of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
- Provide input to project bids and tenders, including cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments.
