About the Role
The Senior Project Control Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating project controls, including planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and change control for nuclear projects. This role will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while managing risks and changes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate project controls for nuclear projects.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and performance against plans and budgets.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and changes.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on project controls.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Manage project documentation and records.
- Conduct project reviews and audits.
- Implement and maintain project management systems and tools.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior staff.
- Manage project budgets and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain project control policies and procedures.
- Manage project procurement and contracts.
- Conduct project risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage project change control processes.
- Ensure project quality and safety standards are met.
- Manage project stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Conduct project post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.
- Manage project resource allocation and utilization.
- Develop and maintain project control dashboards and reports.
- Manage project scope and deliverables.
- Conduct project feasibility studies and assessments.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certification in project management, such as PMP or Prince2.
- Experience with nuclear project controls.
- Experience with project management software, such as Primavera or MS Project.
- Experience with project risk management software, such as RiskyProject or @Risk.
- Experience with project change management software, such as ChangeGear or Remedy.
- Experience with project budgeting and financial reporting software, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience with project documentation and records management software, such as SharePoint or Documentum.
- Experience with project reviews and audits software, such as AuditBoard or ACL.
- Experience with project management systems and tools, such as JIRA or Confluence.
