As a Senior Program Business Analyst, you will play a key role in advancing public health initiatives by leading data analysis, performance monitoring, and compliance activities for state and federally funded programs. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational reporting, while helping teams meet critical deadlines and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analytical efforts to assess program performance, implementation progress, and compliance with grant mandates
- Design and manage recurring reports, dashboards, and documentation that align with regulatory standards
- Verify and reconcile financial and performance data to support audit-ready reporting
- Translate complex datasets into clear, strategic insights for leadership and external partners
- Enhance data tracking systems for procurement, deliverables, and grant cycles to improve accountability
- Identify risks related to documentation, compliance, or operational inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions
- Support audit readiness and governance processes in highly regulated environments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fulfillment of reporting and program milestones
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, business administration, health policy, data analytics, economics, or a related field, along with at least four years of experience supporting public-sector, healthcare, or grant-funded programs. Demonstrated experience preparing structured reports, dashboards, or analytical summaries in compliance-heavy environments is required. You should also have a proven ability to reconcile financial and performance data and manage multiple concurrent workflows independently.
Preferred candidates will have prior involvement with state or federal health initiatives, particularly in healthcare access, Medicaid, rural health, or safety-net provider programs.
Work Environment
This position is remote within Oregon, with up to 25% travel expected as needed. The role operates in a compliance-focused setting that values precision, transparency, and collaboration. You will work across teams to support large-scale program implementation while maintaining rigorous standards for data integrity and reporting.
