Hive.co is looking for a Senior Product Software Engineer responsible for shipping software, rapidly developing new features, and solving technical problems at scale. You'll contribute to technical planning and architectural decisions while helping create moments that matter for event marketers and their fans.
What You'll Do
- Rapidly build new features that users will love, and refine them based on feedback.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical spec reviews, planning, and architectural decision-making.
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Find solutions to optimize system bottlenecks and general performance.
- Keep the tech stack updated with current standards.
- Collaborate on designing scalable, well-documented web architecture, including APIs and backend systems.
- Work directly with the customer success team to solve customer-impacting problems.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years building highly performant web applications.
- Legal authorization to work within Canada.
Nice to Have
- Experience collaborating closely with Product & Design to design, implement, and iterate on high-impact end-to-end product experiences.
- Experience with: React, Redux, Typescript, Python, Django, Redis, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $123,600 to $187,900 CAD per year, with new team members typically starting between $123,600 - $155,000.
