Deckers Brands is looking for a Senior Product Manager / Consultant to join our Career Pool. You'll serve as an Interim Product Manager for clients at various stages of their product lifecycle, from building MVPs to launching them, salvaging stalled initiatives, or setting up new product departments. You'll tackle challenging problems and make critical product and business decisions while overseeing delivery and discovery processes for several initiatives at once.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of high-performing individuals and own the entire product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation.
- Work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities.
- Serve as an Interim Product Manager, guiding clients from building MVPs to launching them, salvaging stalled initiatives, helping scale-ups meet KPIs, steering product pivots, or setting up new product departments.
- Tackle challenging problems and make numerous product and business decisions affecting clients.
- Oversee the delivery and discovery processes of several initiatives simultaneously, sometimes involving other Product, Program, and/or Project Managers.
- Partner with stakeholders, handle people and high-pressure situations, and gracefully manage stakeholders pushing for potentially harmful initiatives.
- Propose and take ownership of initiatives that strengthen the team, enable faster delivery of great results for clients, and optimize for long-term profitability and growth.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager working on a tech product.
- Focus on user experience and a strong understanding of business needs.
- Experience leading a cross-functional team with agile methods.
- Experience with web or mobile applications and front-end technologies.
- Able to switch between analytical and creative thinking.
