What You'll Do
Define the long-term direction for a new cloud virtualization platform, aligning product strategy with business objectives. Establish clear metrics for success and break down strategic goals into actionable development phases. Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases that meet both customer needs and operational requirements.
Engage directly with customers, channel partners, and system administrators through interviews, surveys, and usage analytics to uncover real-world challenges. Turn these insights into well-defined problem statements and detailed product requirements. Lead efforts to assess market opportunities, evaluate competitive offerings, and identify key differentiators that inform pricing models and packaging strategies.
Guide go-to-market initiatives by partnering with marketing and sales teams to develop messaging, positioning, and demonstration materials. Support product launches and deliver training to field teams. Run structured pilot programs to validate product-market fit, gather early feedback, and refine the offering before broad release.
Keep sales, engineering, and partner success teams informed about product updates, roadmap changes, and competitive developments. Monitor key performance indicators such as adoption rates, service level compliance, and support trends. Use data to guide iterative improvements and ensure the product evolves in line with user behavior and market demands.
