Affirm is hiring a Senior Product Manager, Card Platform to own the strategy and execution of our Money Movement and Ledgers across all card products. You will lead the development of critical systems for funding flows, settlement orchestration, liquidity management, and reconciliation, working cross-functionally to deliver high-integrity platform solutions that enable product scale and growth.

What You'll Do

Own and drive the product roadmap for card funding flows, settlement orchestration, ledger posting, and reconciliation.
Design scalable reconciliation and exception-handling systems for accurate, traceable, and reportable settlements and funds movements.
Evolve Affirm funding and liquidity orchestration models across multiple capital sources to optimize capital efficiency and program resiliency.
Define and launch new card programs from 0→1, including program account structures, funding mechanics, and reconciliation frameworks.
Lead cross-functional execution across Engineering, Finance, Analytics, Legal/Compliance, and Operations to deliver reliable, compliant systems.
Address funding challenges at the intersection of BNPL and card issuing through platform innovation.
Serve as a card-issuing domain expert and trusted partner with deep understanding of processor, issuing-bank, and network interactions.
Measure and improve platform health, defining success metrics such as settlement success rates, reconciliation coverage, and exception volumes.
Communicate clearly with senior leaders, presenting insights, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

What We're Looking For

4+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex, cross-functional software platforms.
Experience working in the card payments ecosystem at a fintech, issuing or acquiring bank, card processor, network, or payments infrastructure company.
Hands-on experience with cardflows and how they interact with ledgers, cash accounts, and reconciliation processes.
Strong understanding of the card issuing and acquiring lifecycle, including familiarity with card network message schemas.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and partner closely with Engineering, Finance, and external partners on funding strategy, accounting alignment, and reconciliation.
Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity, synthesize incomplete inputs, and drive execution from concept through launch.
Comfort working with technical systems (APIs, files, schemas) and translating complex financial flows into precise product requirements.

Compensation: CAN base pay range per year: $150,000 - $200,000 + equity: Equity Grade - 6
