Responsibilities
- Collaborate with independent software vendors and platform partners to create joint solutions that enhance the experience for researchers, bioinformatics engineers, and model developers.
- Gain expertise in CUDA-X libraries and AI technologies, focusing on SDKs, services, and workflows.
- Create proof-of-concept examples and technical references, contributing to community tools with various partners.
- Lead the integration of technical platform roadmaps and resolve integration issues with digital biology solutions.
- Work closely with product managers and engineering leads to refine and expand solutions.
- Document knowledge and guide others through targeted reference examples, whitepapers, blogs, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
- Engage with the external community to provide usability feedback and improve product capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Life Sciences.
- 12+ years of experience in software development, technical evangelism, technical marketing, or similar fields.
- 3+ years of experience or deep expertise in life sciences, omics, or accelerated computing.
- Recognition within the omics and HPC computing community as a technical contributor and leader.
- Proven ability to collaborate on technical projects with multi-functional teams.
- Experience in deploying and scaling containerized workflows on the cloud and on-premises.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to produce high-quality content for developers.
- Vision for product development and ability to translate value propositions into compelling demonstrations.
- Passion for staying updated with the latest technological advancements in AI and related fields.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GPUs and SDKs, particularly Parabricks or RAPIDS.
- Proven track record leading high-impact technical initiatives.
- Experience deploying production omics workflows for applications such as next-generation sequencing or precision medicine.
- Experience building and deploying AI agents to optimize and automate scientific workflows.
- Published technical thought leadership, such as GitHub contributions, open-source involvement, or active participation in technical communities.
