About the Role
This role leads the placement of complex private client insurance programs by working closely with advisors and external partners to secure optimal terms and coverage structures for high-net-worth clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end placement of private client insurance programs for affluent individuals and families
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with underwriting partners and insurance carriers
- Analyze client risks and design customized placement strategies
- Collaborate with advisors to understand client needs and objectives
- Negotiate terms and conditions with carriers to secure favorable outcomes
- Prepare detailed submission materials for underwriters
- Monitor market trends and capacity availability in the private client space
- Advise on policy structures, coverage enhancements, and risk transfer options
- Ensure compliance with internal underwriting and documentation standards
- Coordinate with claims and service teams to support client renewals and inquiries
- Track placement performance and report on key metrics
- Support the development of placement best practices and internal knowledge sharing
- Participate in client meetings and presentations when required
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products and regulatory changes
- Manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Act as a resource for junior team members on complex placements
- Evaluate new market opportunities for niche coverage offerings
- Ensure accurate data entry and recordkeeping in agency management systems
- Support integration of placement activities across service lines
- Contribute to process improvements in submission and renewal workflows
