ERG Media is looking for a Senior Print Production Manager to own the entire lifecycle of our international print projects. You will be responsible for delivering world-class publications by managing the supply chain, from initial specification to final delivery.
What You'll Do
- Manage relationships with print partners across Europe and China, acting as the primary point of contact for all production matters.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate creative concepts into detailed print specifications, ensuring designs are optimised for production.
- Negotiate commercial terms, production schedules, and quality standards with print suppliers.
- Set up and manage print projects from initial briefing through to delivery, maintaining clear timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct on-site press checks at print facilities to ensure colour accuracy, material quality, and finishing standards meet requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of printing technologies, paper stocks, and finishing techniques.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing complex, international print production projects from specification to delivery.
- Deep expertise in print supply chain management, including negotiating with suppliers and managing schedules.
- Strong technical knowledge of printing technologies, colour management, paper stocks, and finishing techniques.
- Experience conducting on-site press checks and ensuring quality control.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with design teams to translate creative work into production-ready specifications.
- Proactive problem-solver focused on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing quality.
