Event Coordinator (Remote – Based in Vietnam)
Role Summary
This is a temporary, remote contract position requiring up to 40 hours per week, based in Vietnam with working hours aligned to GMT+7. The Event Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact between nonprofit organizations, corporate partners, and internal teams to ensure events are planned and executed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming event booking requests from corporate clients and internal account managers
- Maintain regular communication with nonprofit partners to confirm event logistics and scheduling
- Coordinate changes and updates across teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed
- Collect and organize essential event details from clients to support planning and execution
- Create room layouts and suggest floor plans tailored to each event’s needs
- Develop deep knowledge of the experiences offered on the platform to guide partners effectively
- Support event production tasks including host coordination, calendar management, and logistics scheduling
- Train and prepare on-site event teams to ensure readiness and consistency
- Share feedback across departments to improve processes and identify areas for growth
- Anticipate potential challenges and develop practical solutions to keep events on track
- Provide real-time support to clients and field teams during event cycles
- Occasional local travel may be required for nearby events, if available
Qualifications
Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience in event coordination or a client-facing role, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and precision in communication are essential. Prior experience in a fast-paced, startup-like environment is valuable, as is a genuine interest in leveraging technology for social impact.
Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Shopify is considered an advantage. A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry developments is expected.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote role with core working hours from 12 PM to 9 AM GMT+7, adjustable slightly to accommodate team meetings.
