Medtronic seeks a Senior Principal Coronary Renal Denervation Territory Manager to join our team in Reno, NV. In this senior sales role, you will be responsible for achieving revenue targets and growing market share for our Coronary Renal Denervation (CRDN) and Peripheral vascular products. What You'll Do
- Maximize profit by achieving sales revenue targets and growing market share for a specified territory.
- Target and develop new accounts to increase sales and revenue.
- Train appropriate medical staff on products and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and deliver on plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and maintain accurate account and territory records.
- Effectively manage time to ensure maximum coverage of all accounts within the territory.
- Develop and implement plans to identify growth opportunities within current and competitive customer accounts.
- Develop and implement strategies to counter competitors.
- Manage inventory to optimally balance product availability with inventory costs.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external key decision makers.
- Plan, implement, and deliver effective sales and product presentations to customers.
- Explore and confirm customers' needs, handle objections, and gain commitment.
- Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints promptly and effectively.
- Communicate market intelligence and competitor activity promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 12+ years relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
- OR Associate’s Degree AND 10+ years relevant sales, clinical, or related experience.
- OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years relevant sales, clinical, or related experience.
- A valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. Driving record will be reviewed.
Nice to Have
- Preference toward local candidates with cath lab sales experience.
- Sales experience in capital equipment sales, surgical sales, or in-hospital pharmaceutical. Medical device sales is especially preferred.
- Completion of a strong sales training program.
- A demonstrated high level of sales performance in a highly technical, competitive, and volatile environment.
- Demonstrated skills in account, inventory, expense, and budget management.
- Demonstrated skills in sales planning, organization, and execution.
- Consistent success working in a variety of business conditions.
- Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel.
