At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. We are looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst, Commercial P&C to provide essential pricing, contracting, and business decision support to our Commercial leadership and field sales teams.
What You'll Do
- Support sales teams with pre-contract sensitivity analysis, including price modeling and profitability assessment.
- Manage the pricing approval process using our contract management system and business unit guidelines.
- Develop, interpret, and share contract-specific performance reports and trend analysis for sales organizations.
- Guide sales personnel on the strategic intent and parameters of available sales programs.
- Support the development of RFP and contract responses, including customer-facing materials.
- Provide account-level and contract sales reporting to field sales teams and external customers.
- Utilize contract management tools and sales operations processes to inform business decisions.
- Maintain a complete understanding of contract requirements to ensure all obligations are met.
- Identify and support the implementation of best practices for effective workflow throughout the contract lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, finance, or marketing.
- 5+ years of pricing experience working directly with Sales teams.
- Strategic, critical, and innovative thinking with an analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and adapt to change.
- Detail-oriented with a dedication to accuracy and a high sense of urgency.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Understanding of contract principles, language, and concepts.
- Presentation and data visualization skills.
- Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and Excel.
