In this role, you'll partner directly with R&D teams, IT leaders, and scientists to understand their data challenges and design solutions that drive measurable value. Your expertise will bridge scientific workflows with modern data and AI infrastructure, ensuring alignment from initial engagement through long-term adoption.
What You’ll Do
- Lead technical sales engagements, translating complex scientific requirements into scalable, future-ready architectures
- Design and deliver customized demonstrations that reflect real-world lab and data environments
- Analyze existing data ecosystems to identify integration points, optimization paths, and innovation opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solution design with product roadmaps and customer goals
- Support proof-of-concepts, pilot programs, and co-innovation initiatives with strategic partners like Databricks and Google Cloud
- Advise on return on investment, risk reduction, and scalability to support customer decision-making
- Act as a trusted technical voice across the customer lifecycle, from initial discovery to expansion
- Respond to technical escalations with clarity and speed, ensuring continuity and confidence
- Contribute to RFPs and technical proposals with detailed, customer-specific architectures
- Strengthen relationships across sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions with scientific and IT stakeholders in regulated environments
- Deep understanding of data architecture, AI/ML infrastructure, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud
- Experience integrating lab systems and scientific data pipelines into enterprise data ecosystems
- Strong skills in mapping business needs to technical solutions and quantifying ROI
- Ability to build trust quickly and serve as a strategic advisor, not just a vendor
- Track record of supporting complex sales cycles, including POCs and new logo acquisition
