About the Role
The Senior Customer Engineer collaborates with sales and customer success teams to demonstrate technical capabilities, design solutions tailored to enterprise needs, and support clients through onboarding and integration phases.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and technical environments
- Deliver product demonstrations tailored to enterprise-level stakeholders
- Design and propose technical architectures that align with customer business goals
- Assist in scoping and defining implementation timelines and success criteria
- Respond to technical inquiries during the sales cycle
- Support proof-of-concept deployments and trial configurations
- Translate customer use cases into technical workflows and configurations
- Troubleshoot integration challenges during early deployment stages
- Provide input on product enhancements based on customer feedback
- Document technical requirements and solution designs for handoff to delivery teams
- Work with security and compliance teams to address enterprise audit requests
- Participate in RFP and procurement processes requiring technical validation
- Ensure alignment between platform capabilities and customer expectations
- Assist in resolving technical blockers during post-sales onboarding
- Mentor junior engineers on customer engagement best practices
- Stay current with platform updates and new feature releases
- Coordinate with product teams to clarify roadmap implications for clients
- Deliver technical training sessions to customer teams
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical decisions
- Support escalation management for high-priority technical concerns
