GE HealthCare is hiring a Senior Planning Leader (Remote Eligible, U.S.)

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of setting and achieving Nuclear Engineering headcount targets through collaboration with FP&A, HR, and Finance based on budget and operational requirements.
  • Manage in-year adjustments to headcount targets as needed.
  • Lead modeling of engineering capacity and demand to support resource allocation and hiring decisions.
  • Establish a regular cadence for strategic coordination across Nuclear Engineering teams on current and future headcount planning.
  • Define and agree upon headcount targets for each Nuclear Engineering team.
  • Develop a modern, standardized process for reviewing and approving new headcount requests.
  • Lead the development and execution of headcount strategy, including day-to-day management, trend analysis, and KPI tracking to inform leadership decisions.
  • Support business planning cycles including quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, long-range planning, and operational planning.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to engineering, operations, and finance teams to adjust headcount and improve cost productivity in line with company objectives.
  • Ensure consistent, reliable data on engineering demand and capacity by establishing a single source of truth for the Nuclear organization.
  • Create audience-specific presentations that deliver clear insights and guidance on workforce planning.
  • Develop and communicate clear narratives around headcount changes across all organizational levels.
  • Support organizational streamlining and lead initiatives for continuous improvement, productivity gains, and automation.
  • Collaborate effectively across functions and lead teams toward shared objectives.
  • Engage with other operations leaders as required to align planning efforts.
  • Work with Digital teams to manage, enhance, and maintain the quality of demand and capacity data platforms.
