About the Role
The role involves leading functional design, configuration, and testing of PeopleSoft FSCM applications, particularly in Grants and Financials, to meet federal compliance and client-specific requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional analysis for PeopleSoft FSCM modules with specialization in Grants and Financials
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for system configuration
- Design and configure PeopleSoft workflows, security, and reporting structures
- Support integration between Grants Management and core Financials modules
- Conduct system testing including unit, integration, and user acceptance phases
- Provide subject matter expertise on federal grant accounting regulations
- Assist in data conversion and mapping strategies during system upgrades or migrations
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate report development
- Lead training sessions for end users and client stakeholders
- Document functional designs, configurations, and process flows
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues in development and production environments
- Participate in project planning and timeline estimation for implementation phases
- Ensure compliance with federal financial reporting standards
- Evaluate and recommend system enhancements based on client needs
- Support audit readiness and financial control assessments
- Work closely with clients to refine business processes
- Assist in developing functional specifications for customizations
- Review and validate PeopleSoft upgrade impacts on Grants functionality
- Mentor junior consultants on FSCM best practices
- Facilitate cross-module coordination with HR and Procurement teams
