Responsibilities

- Coach managers on employee development and career progression
- Lead change initiatives with a focus on transparency and inclusion
- Identify trends in people data to inform proactive interventions
- Advise on promotions, leveling, and compensation recommendations
- Facilitate team offsites and leadership meetings
- Develop onboarding programs tailored to technical teams
- Drive engagement through regular team check-ins and pulse surveys
- Manage complex employee relations with confidentiality and fairness
- Collaborate with HR programs to scale best practices
- Support merger, acquisition, or integration-related people efforts
- Promote a culture of continuous feedback and recognition
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Partner with recruiting to improve candidate experience
- Analyze headcount planning and workforce forecasting
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Provide guidance during high-impact business decisions
- Escalate systemic issues to central HR functions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends in tech
- Balance employee advocacy with organizational needs
- Support leadership development programs for managers
- Foster psychological safety within engineering teams
