Role Overview
This position is central to shaping how our people and teams grow within a fast-moving, remote-first organization. As a Senior People Business Partner, you’ll work closely with leaders across global Operations and General & Administrative functions to strengthen team dynamics, guide organizational change, and align talent strategy with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance to managers on team performance, development, and employee experience
- Collaborate on workforce planning, organizational design, and leadership development initiatives
- Support resolution of employee relations issues, including performance concerns and behavioral matters, coordinating with legal when necessary
- Lead and refine core people processes such as performance reviews, compensation planning, and talent development
- Work with Centers of Excellence in Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and People Operations to deliver impactful programs
- Analyze people data to identify trends related to retention, engagement, and attrition, and recommend proactive solutions
- Guide teams through organizational changes, including restructuring and shifting priorities
- Develop managerial capability in areas like inclusion, feedback, and team leadership
- Design and implement people initiatives tailored to specific business needs
- Use survey insights and metrics to shape decisions around culture, performance, and growth
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience supporting Operations teams—such as customer support, trust & safety, or agent-facing roles—in distributed or remote environments
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organization
- Background in high-growth settings where agility, initiative, and adaptability are essential
- Demonstrated judgment in handling sensitive employee matters with discretion and care
- Strong communication skills tailored to remote collaboration
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while staying aligned with business objectives
- Comfort using data to assess risks and inform people strategies
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring proximity to one of our hub locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Seattle. Team members have flexibility to work remotely or from an office, with in-person time prioritized for planning, collaboration, and team connection.
