Deel is looking for a Senior Payroll Expert to serve as the primary authority on multi-country payroll operations. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to optimize payroll processes across multiple jurisdictions, supporting our mission to create the infrastructure for the future of work.
What You'll Do
- Process payroll for multiple entities and countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments
- Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll-related matters, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing
- Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Stay informed of relevant local regulatory and policy changes, communicating and establishing key changes across teams
- Work cross-functionally to provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters
- Respond to complex payroll and HR related questions from employees and clients
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution
- 7+ years of experience processing payroll for multiple entities and countries
- Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR
- Advanced knowledge of local payroll in a PEO Framework
- Prism HR experience is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to different audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with implementation of new payrolls on an industry recognized payroll solution required
- Experience in multiple country jurisdictions
