Directive is hiring a Senior Paid Social Strategist (Remote US)

About the Role

What You'll Do

Take ownership of high-impact social advertising programs across LinkedIn and Meta, shaping strategy and execution for mid-market and enterprise clients. You'll design and refine quarterly campaigns, manage budget allocation, and ensure every dollar spent contributes to clear business outcomes. Your work will center on maximizing return through precise audience targeting, compelling ad creative, and continuous optimization.

Collaborate directly with clients to understand their goals, communicate progress, and identify opportunities for expansion. You'll coordinate with vendors and internal teams to maintain alignment on deliverables, quality standards, and process improvements. A key part of your role includes verifying lead tracking accuracy in CRM systems and ensuring seamless handoffs between marketing and sales.

Report to the Associate Director, aligning internal objectives with client expectations. You’ll be responsible for your own productivity metrics while contributing to broader team success. Stay ahead of platform changes, emerging ad formats—like conversation ads and CTV—and leverage programmatic capabilities to enhance performance.

Requirements

You bring at least two years of agency experience focused on performance marketing, with a strong track record in B2B digital advertising. Deep familiarity with LinkedIn Ads is essential, including hands-on work with various ad units, audience segmentation by job title or tier, and campaign management via LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Proficiency with supporting tools like ZoomInfo, 6Sense, Google Analytics, GA4, and Excel is required.

Success in this role means using data to guide decisions—analyzing performance metrics, identifying trends, and adjusting strategy accordingly. You should be comfortable translating complex results into clear insights and narratives that inform future actions. Your approach balances competitiveness with curiosity, always seeking better outcomes and sharing learnings across the team.

Organization and multitasking are critical. You’ll manage multiple accounts simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain high standards under deadlines. Occasional client travel—typically once per year per client—may be required.
