United Overseas Bank is looking for a Senior Officer to contribute to the efficient and effective operations of the bank. This role involves performing a variety of tasks to support departmental objectives and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
What You'll Do
- Execute daily operational tasks and processes with accuracy and efficiency, adhering to established procedures and deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation and review of reports, presentations, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the management of customer inquiries and requests, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution while maintaining high service standards.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant banking laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to their successful completion.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven understanding of banking operations, products, and services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical conduct.
