Abbott is hiring a Senior Nutrition Sales Executive in Guntur to contribute to the long-term growth of Abbott Nutrition products in the territory. You will focus on increasing awareness among Healthcare Professionals about the role of nutrition and the superiority of Abbott products, gaining new business and growing existing accounts through a multichannel engagement strategy.
What You'll Do
- Understand the market and category opportunities within your territory to identify opportunities for market share growth.
- Maintain deep, current knowledge about medical and nutritional science, the healthcare landscape, and emerging digital trends.
- Develop and execute multichannel customer engagement plans to generate demand and grow recommendations and market share.
- Leverage customer segmentation, type, and behaviors to inform engagement and account management strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HCPs at different levels of responsibility and influence.
- Secure commitment to recommend Abbott products as the brand of choice by increasing HCP knowledge.
- Define and deliver a ‘Unique Value Proposition’ from the HCP’s perspective by uncovering their needs and priorities.
- Effectively deliver consultative sales calls to expand HCP knowledge of nutritional interventions and Abbott product benefits.
- Establish target customers and develop clear plans to achieve coverage, frequency, and call rate objectives.
- Implement customer segmentation, identify new leads, and ensure timely reporting of daily activities per SFE SOP.
- Use data and insights from digital and omnichannel activities to refine HCP profiles and choose engagement activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, SFE, CRM) to support patient education regarding nutrition and Abbott brands.
- Measure progress against customer and account objectives and take action to ensure targets and KPIs are met.
- Act in alignment with compliance and regulatory expectations.
What We're Looking For
- A graduate in any field.
- Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Pharma/Nutrition Industry.
- Ability to achieve a 60% score in a written test.
- Excellent product knowledge and ability to translate it into effective in-clinic performance.
- Good understanding of nutrition science.
- Ability to establish connections and develop contacts and relationships with ease.
- Strong numerical skills and a collaborative, team-player attitude.
Nice to Have
- Up to 5 years’ experience for Grade 12.
- 5+ years’ experience for Grade 13.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Sales Manager.

This role is a local-country, remote position based in India.
