GE HealthCare is looking for a Senior Nuclear Project Manager to take on comprehensive project management, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction for our commercial nuclear industry projects. You will act as the primary contact for specific service contracts and lead all aspects of project delivery.
What You'll Do
- Perform all aspects of project management for assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resource management.
- Provide leadership and strategic oversight for project teams, ensuring projects are delivered within schedule and cost constraints.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and timelines.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and business policies.
- Monitor project performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress to stakeholders.
- Negotiate contract terms and manage change orders as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers.
- Develop specialized knowledge in nuclear energy and stay updated on the latest technical developments.
- Use technical expertise for data analysis to support project decisions and recommendations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management.
- Or equivalent experience/education in the nuclear industry (e.g., Senior Reactor Operator with 5 years of project management experience).
- Minimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projects in heavily regulated industries such as oil & gas, energy, aerospace, and medical device.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25+% domestically and internationally.
- Access to U.S. export-controlled information (final offers contingent on obtaining authorization).
Nice to Have
- Demonstrated experience in the nuclear industry, with a solid understanding of nuclear project requirements.
- Extensive experience in the nuclear power industry.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects with a focus on instrumentation and controls.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence and build consensus.
- PMP Certification.
