Unknown Company is hiring a Major & Strategic Accounts Associate Director *Software* Remote

About the Role

Join Wolters Kluwer as a Major & Strategic Accounts Associate Director for our Tax and Accounting software division. In this remote role, you will be accountable for maintaining and growing our largest National customers in North America, managing approximately 8-15 high-value CPA firms. You will develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand these strategic partnerships and drive revenue for our software and research products.

What You’ll Do

  • Establish and maintain a consistent knowledge of your customers' global goals, linking them to our product strategy.
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive global sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for new business and retention.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior executives and decision-makers at key accounts.
  • Maintain constant awareness of the global competitive market, including competitive products and services.
  • Facilitate timely customer Account Planning sessions with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer success teams for alignment.
  • Maintain consistent and accurate forecasting of new business and retention.
  • Adhere to consistent and ongoing Salesforce compliance with pipeline management.
  • Communicate regularly with sales leadership.
  • Attend key customer and industry conferences.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • 10 or more years of consultative sales experience with a focus on tax/accounting or financial software/services.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax compliance, and accounting practices.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable business strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Versed in using data to drive decision-making and assess market opportunities.
  • Proficient with CRM software, client success platforms, and sales/data analytics tools.
  • Experience working across multiple markets with an understanding of regional nuances.
  • Effective project management capability with a highly collaborative style.
  • Sensitive to deadlines, high priority programs and deliverables with a team-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of people at all levels of an organization.

Work Mode

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be located in the Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zones.
