As Senior Director of Strategic Accounts & GPOs for EurAsia, you will lead a high-impact function focused on deepening relationships with key healthcare decision-makers across public and private sectors. Your role is central to shaping how Medtronic engages at the system level, moving beyond product transactions to deliver integrated solutions that align with evolving healthcare priorities.
What You'll Do
- Develop forward-looking strategies for major healthcare accounts, including hospital networks, GPOs, and health authorities, grounded in regional market intelligence and procurement dynamics
- Design and deliver pan-enterprise value propositions that address system-level challenges such as cost efficiency, patient outcomes, and access to care
- Lead complex negotiations across multi-year contracts, tenders, and framework agreements, ensuring sustainable margin performance and market share protection
- Engage directly with C-suite executives and senior procurement leaders to position Medtronic as a strategic partner
- Identify opportunities for therapy expansion, cross-selling, and adoption of beyond-device solutions aligned with regional portfolio priorities
- Coordinate with country and regional teams to ensure consistent, compliant, and cohesive execution across diverse regulatory and policy environments
- Monitor performance metrics, pipeline progression, and procurement cycles, adapting strategies in response to market shifts
- Collaborate with the Innovation & Operational Excellence team to strengthen execution capabilities and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 15 years in strategic account management, business development, or healthcare sales within complex, multi-country environments
- Proven success managing relationships with large private and public healthcare systems, GPOs, and government health entities
- Strong track record in negotiation, contracting, and long-term partnership development
- Deep understanding of healthcare policy, reimbursement models, and procurement governance structures
- Strategic mindset with advanced analytical skills and experience in systematic account planning
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and lead initiatives across regions
- Fluency in English; extensive travel across Europe and Asia required
